I Can Help

I am Dr. Francis Yoo and I specialize in the treatment of symptoms arising from traumatic head injury, traumatic brain injury, and concussions with non-invasive, hands-on, holistic, integrative approaches.

I use palpatory skills to feel changes to your head and rest of the body, find altered tensions, strains, and persistent stresses in the body, head to toe, that are contributing to your symptoms. I then use various hands-on techniques, some very subtle and some involving a lot of motion, to restore healthy structure, function, movement. I also occasionally use acupuncture and other modalities to help my treatments.

Patient Testimonials

"I was recommended by a very good friend and it was the best experience I’ve had in a very long time. Bed side manners and the way he explained things to me that I could understand clearly was a PLUS"

What to expect at your visit

All sessions will involve hands-on treatments with various modalities of Osteopathic Manipulation and depending on what we are working on we may also include acupuncture and guided breathwork, meditation, and movement exercises.

Osteopathic Manipulation is a procedure where Dr. Yoo primarily uses his hands to move, put pressure on, or shift the patient in order to relieve excess tension. This may include bones and joints, soft tissue (such as muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments), organs, and the flow of fluids (such as blood, nerve, lymphatic), intraoral (inside the mouth), and more subtle aspects of the person. Treatment may also include:

  • Lifestyle Medicine: Nutrition, Exercise & Fitness, Sleep, Stress Transformation, Relationships

  • Shock-trauma related tension

  • Homeopathy

The approach, technique, and various other elements are not pre-decided. Every patient is treated as a unique individual at each visit.

During your initial visit, we will discuss a treatment plan and how we will continue working together to address your needs.
