What is Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine?
Also known as Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) or Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), it is a hands on, non-invasive technique that is a holistically oriented
approach to treating various health concerns and conditions by:
-
Addressing whole person health: person - body, mind, spirit.
-
Working with your innate self-healing mechanism.
-
Restoring optimal structure, form, and function so health can express itself.

What to expect at your visit
All sessions will involve hands-on treatments with various modalities of Osteopathic Manipulation and depending on what we are working on we may also include acupuncture and guided breathwork-meditation.
Initial visits are 70 minutes long.
After the first visit patients typically schedule three to four follow up visits within a two-month period followed by decreased frequency of visits.
Follow up visits are typically approximately 40 minutes long.
Receipts / Superbills are provided for you to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement.
While I have opted out of Medicare, Medicare patients may submit to their secondary insurance for reimbursement.
